The Gostner Schwaige is just the perfect place to celebrate for each occasion. In our hut we have enough space for different groups of people: up to 35 people in the “Lärchenstube” (Tyrolean lounge with larch wood), up to 25 people in the “Zirmstube” (Tyrolean lounge with alpine pinewood) or up to 150 people in our separate Guesthouse for bigger events. In the summertime we also have the possibility to arrange events outside on our nearby meadow.

We are also offering a Catering service for your event, if you have already found another location.

A peculiar feature of a Schwaige: According to regulations, at least 80% of the products or meals used and served of a Schwaige have to be self-made or at least local products. We are following this rule out of our own conviction.

Our tasteful, refined and exquisite meals are always freshly and lovingly prepared from fresh, high quality ingredients. Let us delight you with our outstanding breakfast or a tasty and proper Marende* on the meadows. It is perhaps the best option, if you simply come to us and see, hear and taste for yourself.

Marende: Snack; Refreshment; Light meal. A cold intermeal with many variants and varieties composed of bacon, sausages, cheese, pickled gherkins, sometimes eggs, tomatoes and bread.

Proposal for a wedding:
The bridal couple and their guests will be brought to our Schwaige by a romantic horse drawn carriage. From afar you can hear the alphorns. Festively covered tables with a fine selection of appetizers with spreads made of flowers and herbs will welcome you.

Drinks available are flowery champagne, syrup made from roses or clary sages, dandelion juice or water.

Some blankets on the meadow are also ready to accommodate some guests after the aperitif, as well as some benches with tables for resting.

In our hut we have the “Lärchenstube”, which for this occasion will be decorated in white, having meadow flowers, candles and pine wood chips, for the flagrance, on the tables. Fresh and warm bread will be ready, which tastes best with our self-made butter.

The Menu:

  • 25 flowers and herbs from the Aussergosthof with Swiss stone pine pesto, potato vinaigrette and herbal salt
  • Violet bacon dumpling soup
  • Lasagna with fresh boletus, Mountain cheese, pineapple tomato and shrub-basil
  • Shoulder from the Simmental cattle prepared with the Sous vide method combined with marrow-dumplings, root vegetables and shallots butter
  • “Kaiserschmarren”(shredded sweet pancakes with raisins) with sour cream ice cream, prepared on the old wood stove on the terrace, caramelized and flambéed with apricots and rose-mint.

The evening comes gradually to an end with a selection of mountain cheese and self-made chutneys on our beautiful terrace in candlelight.
